ABOUT

Laura
Tetley Todd

Laura Tetley Todd is a friend and ally to downtown districts across the state of Tennessee. She assists local communities in bridging the past, present, and future by brilliantly guiding leaders through the multi-layered and complex revitalization process, with the main objective of economic development.

Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, her appreciation for the past originated with her high school history teacher. Laura then moved to Oxford, Mississippi to obtain a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in banking and finance from The University of Mississippi. After graduation, she settled in West Tennessee and married Memphis native Bill Todd. Laura spent the first 17 years of her career in the banking and mortgage industry, which gave her a solid understanding of the financial and economic aspects of her work now with local municipalities.

It all began with saying, “Yes.” Laura had already been heavily involved in her community via Leadership Collierville, which she helped implement, and other local organizations. When the opportunity to volunteer with Main Street Collierville arose, she jumped at the chance. Her love for Downtown Collierville grew even further when she took on the responsibility of director. This position allowed her to immerse herself more deeply into the community and put her natural and professional talents to use.
