• Tennessee Historical Commission- appointed in 2022 by the State of Tennessee Governor Lee to serve a 5- year term representing West Tennessee. Committees serving on are the marker/monument committee, publications committee and the THC Foundation. Hosted the Tennessee Historical Commission Meeting, held in West Tennessee Meeting in 2023.

• Rural Heritage Trust for Southwest Tennessee Board of Directors- appointed to serve as VP of the Board of Directors in 2020 and chair of Historical Places and Roads. Terms 2019-2022 and reappointed to serve an additional 3- year term 2022-2025 continuing as VP

• Tennessee Preservation Trust (TPT)- Board member 2017 and Chair of TPT Conference held in Collierville in 2011. Assisting with reorganization of the TPT Board efforts in 2022

• Town of Collierville Historic District Commission- filled a vacancy in 2010 for two years. Reappointed by the Mayor of Collierville in 2012 and again in 2017. Each term is a 5- year commitment and served in the officer role of secretary

• WestStar Leadership graduate 2022- Selected as a Shelby County representative in 2021 (21 counties represented in West Tennessee)

• Main Street America Revitalization Professional- March 2022 certificate from the National Main Street Center

• Member of the Tennessee Association of Community of Leadership (TACL)

• Memphis Area Association of Government (MAAG) Tourism Advisory Board 2020-present serving the counties of Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby and Tipton. MAAG is one of the nine Development Districts in Tennessee

Community Organizations

• Main Street Collierville 1994-2016. Served in many roles as a volunteer, board member (1997-2000) and local MSC Director ( 2001-2016) to preserve, promote and protect the heritage of our hometown.

• Leadership Collierville- served as the first Director to implement the program in 1994. Member of the first Class 1994-1995. Board member 1995-1999 and 2007-2010 and returning to 2023-2024 Board of Trustees to assist with alumni efforts ; Served in the role of President of the LC Board of Trustees in 1996-1998 and VP of Adult Program 2007-2010. Assisted with the implementation of Youth Leadership; Received the 2015 H.R. Houston Leadership Award for Outstanding Leadership and Service to the Community

• Collierville Education Foundation Board of Directors 2000-2005 and charter member of the Collierville Education grant committee prior to the formation of the Foundation. C.H. Harrell Education Award recipient 2007

• Collierville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors member 1995-2001; VP of Chamber Development and Chair of the CCC Ambassadors Club (implemented under my leadership)

• Charter member of the Collierville Tourism group- now known as the Tourism Advisory Commission 2011-2017
